Wednesday 7pm ~ Pilates Plus
Last week we had fun with the fitness circle and ball in a great Pilates Toning Class. This week we'll focus on the core and powerhouse with Power Abs! Pilates exercises work your deep abdominal muscles(core) while also working the muscles around the hip joint and the muscles of the lower back. Including the core, this area makes up the powerhouse of the body. If you build lean muscle here, it improves your balance, stamina and burns lots of calories! So if you want flat abs this holiday season, come to Pilates class Wednesday night from 7-8:15pm at Renaissance Healing Center (A1A & 3rd N).
Thursday 12noon ~ 45 min Lunch Time Pilates
Another way to get flat abs and more energy is to do core exercises throughout your day. If you squeeze in some mind-body exercise during your lunch break you'll feel less fatigue (and less back pain) at the end of your day. So get out of your office (or car) and onto a mat for some stretching and strengthening every Thursday from 12 to 12:45pm.
Friday 5:15pm ~ Bellydancing for Beginners series #6 of 6
It's the last class of this series! As we wrap up the dance (DjennaDjenna), we'll be getting awesome ab work practicing camels and hip twists. Ladies you are welcome to wear skirts and all the shiny, jingly baubles you want for our Last Class. I look forward to having a fun time with you all! Our next session begins in January. The first class will be on Friday Jan. 8, 2010 and will continue every Friday for 6 weeks. Register before Dec 18th and get an extra $5 off the low price of $50!
