Belly Dance for Beginners

Learn a fun coreography to a Middle Eastern song while getting an awesome workout! If you have *always* wanted to try Belly Dancing, Now is the time! I would love to share it with you.  I will take you through the steps and introduce you to the beautiful Art of Bellydance. Women of all shapes, ages and physical fitness levels will enjoy strengthening their bodies while making new friends, redefining their figures and increasing their self esteem. Join us for some laughter, fun, and shimmies.

Dancing in Circles. . .

  On Sunday Dec 13th I attended my first writing circle with Sharon Elliott.  It was a beautiful and heart opening experience.  The circle was full of Ahhhhs of appreciation and Mmmms of thoughtfulness as we each shared our words.  Sharon was a perfect guide and helped us explore our "sphere" inside and out.  I am just beginning to get reconnected with my inner poet so this circle of women writing with simple words was what I needed to fuel my fire of creation.  Here is a link to Sharon's site and a poem complied of phrases we each wrote in the circle: All Write Now  This workshop was a great was to spend 2 hours on a Sunday.  We continued to build and integrate the energy with a Yoga class from 5-6p followed by our monthly Women's Drum Circle.  By the end of the evening I was dancing and drumming in pure delight!  Thank you sooooo much to all the organizers and Ladies who joined us for this special, empowering day!! We can't wait to have Sharon back in January for another mini-retreat.  It's scheduled for Sunday Jan 10th, 2:00 – 4:30pm and again followed by Yoga at 5p and Women's Drum Circle at 6p.  Please join me at Renaissance Healing Center for this wonderful experience of the creative feminine.
